The Preschool Program:
Children are working with Montessori materials in a fun and nurturing environment. Along with our academics we aim to instill a love for learning through high interest songs, games, and activities. Weekly bible stories, music lessons and Spanish class are part of our curriculum.
Philosophy:
St. Cyprian Preschool is for children 3 through 5 years of age. They must be turning 3 by December 1st of the current school year. We use Montessori materials and a Montessori approach to learning. All children learn at different times and the Montessori approach offers children the opportunity to learn when they are ready. We believe older children in the class are seen as role models to the younger children and enjoy interacting with each other.
Admission:
All students must be 3 years of age by December 1st of the current school year. If the Director has a question regarding the readiness of a student, that student will be tested for admission. Preschool Application
Staff/ Student Ratio:
The maximum class size is twenty-four students per classroom. Five teachers assist the Director in carrying out the Preschool program. After our circle time the students work with the teachers in small groups and independently throughout the day.

The preschool follows the St. Cyprian K-8 school calendar. Each family receives a yearly calendar at the beginning of the school year, and a detailed schedule of daily activities may be obtained from the director.
We have a Montessori approach to our preschool program where learning is developmentally appropriate for each child. Our goal is to have every child reach his or her potential and grow in God’s love through a Catholic educational experience.
